I’m so happy you’re here.

I’m Alex, I live in Northcote, Tamaki Makaurau Auckland with my husband Tommo, my little boy Oliver and my cat Knuckles.

I’m an ally for the rainbow community, and everyone is so welcome here.

I’d love to help you through the process of getting married and to create and deliver a warm, light hearted, modern and thoughtful ceremony that truly reflects you - whether that’s a full-scale ceremony, an elopement, a short and sweet backyard signing or something in between.

Every part of a ceremony should hold true significance to you as a couple so I’d love to work with you to craft a ceremony that you simply adore. The lovely couples I’ve married to date will tell you I think of many aspects of a ceremony when planning it - I genuinely believe the more we prepare for, the smoother your ceremony will run and the more present you’ll be throughout it.

With 20 years experience in the Events / Advertising / Marketing industry, and my day job being Head of Brand and Marketing for New Zealand’s Olympic and Commonwealth Games Teams, you can trust me to deliver a tasteful and refined ceremony experience.

And, as something small we can do together to make the world a better place, 5% of my fee is donated to KidsCan New Zealand to support tamariki in poverty.

Alex is not only a wonderful human being, but she is also a bloody good writer and her ability to (very quickly) write a script that weaved in all of our relationships important moments and milestones was seriously impressive. Our guests have not stopped talking about how personal and authentic the ceremony was.
During any moments of uncertainty in the build up, (e.g., late night emails questioning whether our vows were ok) her reassurance was more than just words - it was a reflection of her genuine care and dedication to creating the perfect ceremony for us. Her reassurance continued on the day, where you could feel her presence in a warm and comforting way as if she was saying ‘you’ve got this’ without actually saying it.
